DDOK President and CEO Receives 2018 Good Samaritan Award

Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO) recognized Delta Dental of Oklahoma President and CEO, John Gladden, at the inaugural NSO Good Samaritan Awards Luncheon on April 26, 2018.

Gladden was honored by NSO for his role in supporting their low-cost dental clinic, and his personal service and commitment to oral health related programs throughout the state. NSO funding, awarded by a grant from the DDOK Foundation, helps to reduce patients’ cost for dentures and partials.

“It is an honor to be recognized by NSO, but this award also belongs to DDOK and our Foundation employees who work tirelessly to help us accomplish our mission of advancing the oral health of all Oklahomans,” said Gladden. Linda Lambert, President of LASSO Corp. and Paul and Ann Milburn of the Paul Milburn Gift Fund at Oklahoma City Community Foundation also received recognition at the luncheon.

“I am so excited to honor these outstanding community leaders, who are helping people overcome adversity and lead better, healthier lives,” said Stacey Ninness, President and CEO of NSO. “We wanted to recognize individuals that embody community service and leadership and we’re truly inspired by the honorees we’ve chosen this year.”

NSO is a nonprofit serving the at-risk and homeless of the Oklahoma City community through their mission of transforming lives and encouraging independence through safe, healthy homes, dental care and nutrition. Click here to learn more about NSO.
