Best Places to Work (BPTW) in Oklahoma 2019 rankings were announced late last week. Delta Dental of Oklahoma (DDOK) was ranked No. 2 of 27 honorees in the small/medium company category. DDOK appeared in position 3 on this same list in 2018.
A valuable part of the BPTW process is a survey of employees organized by The Journal Record newspaper and Best Companies Group. According to the survey, DDOK’s annual employee appreciation month and incentive compensation plans are among the top reasons why employees love working for the company.
“DDOK considers its employees an incredibly valuable asset and we strive to provide a benefits package reflective of this esteem, which includes 401(k) contributions of 10.5 to 11.5% of our employees’ salaries prior to their own contributions,” said president and CEO, John Gladden.
DDOK employee benefits also include paid time off, educational reimbursement, an employee assistance plan, and employer-paid short-term disability policy which compensates 100% of an employee’s salary.
