Rankings for the 2021 Best Places to Work in Oklahoma were announced, and Delta Dental of Oklahoma (DDOK) was ranked No. 1 of 20 honorees in the small/medium category. This is the second year in a row DDOK ranked first among small/medium businesses.

The Journal Record and Best Companies Group partner to honor Oklahoma businesses and organizations who create quality workplaces. Honored companies are selected based on employee survey responses, along with workplace policies, practices and demographics.

DDOK offers employees medical, life, dental and other popular benefits. The short-term disability plan allows employees to accumulate hours each pay period up to a six-month maximum that can be used for short-term disability leave at 100% of the employee salary. Also, DDOK pays approximately 11% of an employee’s salary into a 401(k) plan, prior to any contributions made by the employee.

During the pandemic, DDOK issued relief bonuses, phone/internet allowances and an increased holiday bonus. DDOK also held quarterly employee appreciation events and sent gift boxes to employees’ at home.
