With the Delta Dental Patient Direct program, you save on the majority of dental services and procedures - including routine cleanings, fillings, X-rays, crowns – even whitening, cosmetic and corrective oral surgery, and orthodontics (braces). Once enrolled, our Delta Dental Patient Direct procedure and fee table shows the reduced prices you pay for dental services and procedures included in the program.

Can I go to any dentist?

Not every Delta Dental dentist is a Delta Dental Patient Direct dentist. It is necessary that you go to a dentist in the Delta Dental Patient Direct network. These participating dentists in our network have agreed to charge the lower, set fees, according to our List of Reduced Fees. So while not all dentists participate with Delta Dental Patient Direct, you can certainly encourage your dentist to join (at no cost to them). How does it work?

We accept Visa, Mastercard, and bank drafts. Once you enroll and pay your annual fee (there is a 24-hour wait to process credit cards and a 3-5 day wait for bank drafts), you receive a Delta Dental Patient Direct membership card. Simply present this card to any participating dentist in our statewide Patient Direct network, and they will automatically give you the special reduced fee for dental services. Since Delta Dental Patient Direct is not insurance, there is no deductible, and no claims to file.


Is there a waiting period?

There is no waiting period. From the time you receive your membership card, you can start using the program immediately.


How much can I expect to save?

Since all dentists in the network promise to charge set fees for all their procedures, you can save up to 75% on some procedures. Typical savings on the most common procedures can range from 10% to 30%.
