Coordination of Benefits: How Does It Work?
If you are covered under another dental plan, Delta Dental will coordinate your Covered Benefits as described in your Summary Plan Description.

It is important to note that having two dental programs (dual coverage) does not "double" your coverage. However, it may mean that you will pay lower out-of-pocket costs. Coordination of Benefits eliminates duplicate payments for the same dental or orthodontic services.

Delta Dental of Oklahoma: Dental Benefits You Can Trust!
Across Oklahoma, companies, families and individuals like you consistently trust Delta Dental to meet their dental benefit needs by providing true value, quality and coverage. We take your trust to heart every day.

While some carriers are consolidating operations and customer service outside of Oklahoma, you can trust DDOK to provide unparalleled local support and service to you and your family. Our goal is to serve our clients with excellence, and it shows when we consistently reach 98% customer satisfaction, a 97% client retention rating, and 99.999% claims accuracy.

The Relationship Between Oral Health and Diabetes is a
    Two-Way Street
According to the American Diabetes Association, 23.6 million American adults and children have diabetes. Of those, 5.7 million do not know that they have it. Of even greater concern is that nearly three times that number - an estimated 57 million people - have a condition called pre-diabetes, and a significant proportion of these people will develop Type 2 diabetes within 10 years.

Delta Dental of Oklahoma, the state’s largest dental benefits provider, reminds you that regular visits to the dentist’s office can help potential diabetics get an early warning that they should be on the alert.

Whether you reach for the sugar bowl, the honey pot, or a packet of artificial sweetener, it's all a matter of taste and calories.

Sugar fuels the body and every cell in it. A variety of foods naturally contain sugar. The most common sugars are in fruit (fructose) and milk (lactose). No matter how sugar starts out, your body turns it into glucose.
