Retiree Conversion Program:

Retiree benefits are becoming more important as baby boomers enter retirement. Delta Dental provides you a way to offer retiree dental benefits to your employees at no cost or administration to your group.

  • If an employee is currently enrolled in your dental plan and retires from your company, simply provide them with the attached paperwork to submit to our offices within 30 days of leaving your employment.
  • DDOK will permit them to convert to an individual retiree dental policy.
  • Dependents of the retiree must be enrolled at that time.
  • Payments are made monthly via a DDOK draft from the retirees checking or savings account or one-time payment for the calendar year.
  • Rate adjustments, if necessary, occur January of each year.

    DELTA DENTAL NETWORK FEATURES:

    Delta Dental Premier Network:

    • Freedom of Choice: Delta Dental subscribers may visit any licensed dentist worldwide.
    • Maximum Savings: Maximum out of pocket savings are provided when treatment is received by a Delta Dental Premier participating dentist.
    • No Balance-Billing: Delta Dental Premier participating dentists agree to accept Delta Dental's maximum allowable amount as payment in full, except for deductibles and co-pays. Any amounts exceeding the maximum allowable amount cannot be billed to Delta Dental subscribers.
    • Limited Up-Front Charges: Delta Dental Premier participating dentists cannot collect up-front for services provided to a Delta Dental subscriber, except for deductible and co-payment amounts, expenses for non-covered services, and amounts over the subscriber's plan maximum.
    • No Claim Forms: All Delta Dental Premier participating dentists agree to complete and submit claim forms for Delta Dental subscribers, at no additional charge.
    • Nationwide coverage.

    Additional Delta Dental Premier Advantages:

    • For subscribers, Delta Dental Premier offers the largest network of participating dentists throughout Oklahoma, which means subscribers have access to the cost savings features the network provides.
    • For purchasers, Delta Dental Premier represents a long-standing, managed fee-for-service dental benefits program that is well-recognized in the dental community, offers a large participating network of dentists, utilizes cost management features that save the purchaser money, and results in improved oral health and higher satisfaction for its employees.
    • Custom-Designed Benefits, each group's dental coverage needs are as individual as the employees who will utilize the benefits. With Delta Dental Premier, an employer group can customize benefit levels to its own needs and budget.
