Home | About Our Foundation | Grantmaking | Special Programs | News | Resources & links | Contact Us ODF Mobile Dental Care Program The Delta Dental of Oklahoma Charitable Foundation is proud to partner with the Oklahoma Dental Foundation’s Mobile Dental Care Program (MDCP) to help deliver dental care access to those in need across our state. Having supported the Mobile Dental Care Program from its inception, last year the Foundation committed to providing major funding for a two-year pilot project that has already resulted in doubling the number of patients the Program serves each month. The MDCP van is a fully-equipped, modern dental office on wheels. The Program travels throughout the state, working with local site partners like community health centers, Head Start, and social service agencies to identify and schedule patients and to promote the mobile dental van’s visit to their community. The Program is designed to provide dental care to those who are uninsured, under-insured, underserved, or indigent. For many who cannot afford care or those who must travel to great a distance to make dental care possible, the Mobile Dental Care Program is their only hope for oral health care. The Mobile Dental Care Program is dependent on the volunteer services of dental professionals.
