2012 Grants
Delta Dental of Oklahoma has contributed more than $6 million to dental health and education related programs through its Foundation since 1998. This year the Foundation has awarded more than $1 million to 30 programs chosen through a board-reviewed application process.

Information for Grant Seekers
The mission of the Delta Dental of Oklahoma Oral Health Foundation is to facilitate dental health and education in the state of Oklahoma by funding programs and services that promote oral health. Based on that mission, we award grants to organizations that make dental care accessible or advance dental education or research.
Eligibility Requirements – 4-Point Test:
- The organization seeking the grant must be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with public charity (not private foundation) status, an educational institution, or a government agency. We do not award grants to individuals.
- The program, project or initiative being funded must be dental health or education related.
- The program cannot discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, or religion.
- The program must serve Oklahomans.
Guidelines:
- Priority status is given to programs which provide free dental care services/education to indigent or under-served populations and which utilize volunteer dental professionals.
- The grant application should include measurable goals and a method for measuring success.
- Grant seekers should review our Funding Guidelines and Priorities prior to applying for a grant.
How to Apply for a Grant:
- Grant applications for 2013 funding will be made available in the spring and must be submitted by August 31, 2012.
